Access: who can join and how
Access to Trade Dollar is a verified whitelist. Before you can deposit, you complete verification. This is how the vault keeps access limited to eligible participants and meets its legal obligations.
Who can join
- Verification first. You complete the verification process and are added to the whitelist before you can deposit.
- Verification is necessary, not sufficient. Passing verification is a requirement to take part. It does not, on its own, mean you are eligible where you live.
- Eligible participants. At launch, access is limited to verified, whitelisted participants. Over time, access may broaden in stages, always with the appropriate checks in place.
- No minimum deposit. There is no minimum deposit amount. Verification is the only gate.
How to get access
The practical path, from interest to first deposit:
- Request access. [Access request link or contact published at launch.]
- Complete verification. You submit the requested identity and eligibility information. [Typical processing time published at launch.]
- Whitelist confirmation. Your depositing address is added to the verified whitelist.
- Deposit. You can deposit from your whitelisted address at any time after confirmation. The accepted deposit token is shown in each vault: a major stablecoin, USDT or USDC. See The LP journey for what happens next.
Restricted jurisdictions
Trade Dollar is not available everywhere. Access is restricted by default and opened only on verification. The protocol is not offered to, and may not be used by, residents, citizens, or tax residents of, or entities based in, the restricted jurisdictions. This applies no matter how the protocol is accessed.
The binding, current list of restricted jurisdictions is set out in the Terms, which hold the authoritative version. The list can change as rules and conditions evolve. Passing verification does not, by itself, make you eligible where you live. If you are not sure whether you can take part, check the Terms before you deposit.
