Roadmap

Trade Dollar's architecture is built to grow along several independent paths. Each one extends the platform without changing the core vault mechanics.

  • Wider access. The platform starts with a verified whitelist. Over time, access can broaden in stages, with the appropriate checks at each step.
  • More origination. The first vault sources deals through one established originator, starting with Rwandan metals. More sources, across commodities, corridors, and originators, can be added independently, each with its own deal flow.
  • More curators. A single Curator runs the vault at launch. The design supports opening curation to other qualified risk managers, who would compete on performance and risk management.
  • Independent NAV verification. At launch the Curator verifies each NAV update against the settlement records before posting it. Over time the design adds an independent verifier of NAV, moving toward independent, on-chain proof of reserves.
  • More chains. The platform launches on Ethereum. Over time, it can extend to other networks so LPs on other chains can reach Trade Dollar vaults.
  • Trade receivables, the near-term second product line. Alongside metals, Trade Dollar runs a receivables product on the same vault architecture, financing trade receivables such as agricultural exports. It works the same way but is secured by an assigned receivable rather than by goods, with trade-credit insurance covering buyer non-payment. Further asset types can follow on the same mechanics.

These paths are modular and can be pursued in any order, based on market conditions and partnerships. The core vault mechanics stay the same as the platform grows.

Roadmap items are directional, not commitments, and can change.
