Salus and IOTA integration
Trade documentation runs on a separate layer from the vault. This distinction matters, so it is worth being precise.
The Salus platform is Trade Dollar's trade-finance partner, and its documentation layer runs on the IOTA network. Salus originates the deals, runs physical custody and monitoring, provides identity and verification for supply chain participants, turns trade documents into Digital Warehouse Receipts (DWRs) on-chain, and acts as the primary recovery agent. Several operational roles therefore sit with one partner; the concentration and its counterweights are set out on Curator, Risk Committee, and who can change what.
To be exact about the stack: Trade Dollar uses Ethereum for the vault, LP accounting, deposits, withdrawals, and the share token. It uses the Salus documentation layer, which runs on IOTA, for Digital Warehouse Receipts and trade-document workflows. The two layers serve different roles in the system and operate independently.
