Security and audits
Trade Dollar runs on Ethereum, and the vault is built to the standards and the review process that serious on-chain capital expects.
Built on proven standards. The vault contracts are written in Solidity and follow the ERC-4626 tokenized vault standard, extended with ERC-7540 for the asynchronous withdrawal queue, alongside Curator-verified NAV updates. Ethereum has the deepest auditor network and the most mature security tooling in the space, which is a large part of why the vault is built there.
Independent audit. An independent third-party smart-contract audit is planned before mainnet deployment, and the report is linked here when it is complete.
Built-in safeguards. Critical parameter changes, such as the fee structure or the strategy, are subject to a multi-day time delay (a timelock). The delay gives LPs time to see a change coming and act before it takes effect. The vault also uses conservative access controls and a phased approach to deployment.
An honest limit. These measures reduce smart contract risk. They do not remove it. No smart contract system is ever fully safe, and some residual risk is always present.
